Dental Benefit Under The DSFA

What Benefit is Provided?

The Department of Social and Family Affairs (DSFA) Treatment Benefit Scheme provides for a free oral examination once a year for qualifying patients. Unfortunately, in the recent budget all benefits other than the examination were abandoned.

It is important to avail of the free examination - we do a thorough check of all your teeth, the health of your gums and also the health of your other oral tissues (including an oral cancer screen).  Remember, any problem picked up early is immeasurably easier to remedy. 

Eligibility

To qualify for benefit you must satisfy certain PRSI conditions. To see if you qualify, we will be happy to contact the DSFA on your behalf.  Alternatively you can contact the DSFA directly on 1890 400 400. However, in order for us to treat you under the scheme, we must contact the DSFA directly ourselves to confirm your eligibility.
